The absolute best way to explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest and see the amazing landscape, nature, and animals is on a guided hanging bridge tour.
This tour is on super strong, wide, and safe bridges with little movement compared to other locations and it is wheelchair friendly. Bridges are 1.5 meters (5 feet) wide.
The trails are just over 3 kilometers long (almost 2 miles) and will take approximately 1-1 ½ hours to explore. This is the longest hanging bridge system in Costa Rica. There is a total of 8 bridges with the longest bridge measuring 170 meters (560 feet).
Your naturalist tour guides will point out and explain the amazing flora, fauna, and diverse wildlife of the Cloud Forest along with the history of the area. Not only will you see beautiful nature you will learn all about it. Perfect for the whole family and all ages.
Tours are available four times a day at 8 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 2:30 pm.
