The naturally heated hot springs from the Rincon de la Vieja volcano flow into 10 natural-looking man-made pools that are on the banks of a pristine river.
Lockers are located at the entrance and from there it is a short hike on trails leading you through the jungle forest to the small canyon where the hot springs are located. Here you can walk across the hanging bridge and on the trails or just head down to pools.
Enjoy the natural, soothing, and healing volcanic mud. Treat yourself to a spa-style experience. You can rinse off in the cool river water and then jump into the 10 pools filled with circulating hot spring waters. These pools are built into and above the riverbank offering a fantastic view of the thick jungle and the wonderful bird and animal life. In the area, there are around 300 species of birds, two types of monkeys, and many other animals.
